The girls are growing like crazy it seems. Kate is now 8 lbs 13 oz and Lucy is 7 lbs 15.5 oz, so she's almost 8 lbs. Kate continues to grow a bit faster than Lucy so she's almost a pound larger now! It really shows (as I'm sure you can tell in the pictures). Both girls are doing well. Kate no longer has her projectile spit ups since we switched her to liquid formula (as opposed to the powder) and Lucy's gas seems to be a bit less. Lucy gets all the breast milk so her gas baffled me a bit but I guess some babies gastrointestinal stuff just matures a bit more slowly.
Lucy's angioplasty is scheduled for October 30th, first thing in the morning so I think she has to be at the hospital around 6 am. We get more details next Thursday. I guess after the surgery she will be growing a little more slowly for a bit until her body heals and readjusts but I'm sure she will eventually catch Kate up...I kind of hope she won't though...if she doesn't it will always be that much easier to tell them apart!
They are becoming more and more alert every day and often hold thier heads up quiet well. It's an adventure for sure!
